BREAD & HONEY opened in July 2004, in an unassuming side street between London's Clerkenwell and Shoreditch. It's made its mark on the area, and become a destination store for discerning shoppers from all over London.
Why would people cross town to visit a store that's just 1000 square feet (100 square metres)? That's down to the owners Laurent Chaumet and Laurent Roure, two Frenchmen who've lived in London for well over a decade. With Chaumet emerging from the club scene and Roure a retail expert, they understand what hip Londoners want. The pair make it their business to cherrypick the best of casual and upscale sports wear, so the customer is offered a concise but pretty near perfect choice.
